Crier
A nightlife & events app — discovery, listings and ticketing for a city’s music and culture scene, designed and built end to end.
View project ↗We build apps and websites that actually ship — and ours are the proof.
A two-person Birmingham studio that designs, builds, and launches real software, then keeps it alive. Our own app, Crier, is live in both stores with thousands of people using it.

View project ↗A self-serve private karaoke room. Book and pay in the app, and a time-bound door code lets you into the room in back — no host to wait on, no key to pick up, and you can extend on the spot if the next hour’s open. We built it end to end — app, payments, and the door — for Saturn in Birmingham.
View project ↗A civic news & explainer app that makes local government legible — clean reading, clear structure, calm design.
View project ↗Safety-compliance software for bars and nightclubs. It turns a dense venue-safety ordinance into guided safety plans, training logs, and nightly checklists — so when the city asks for proof, the owner produces a complete, timestamped compliance pack in one tap.
View project ↗An algorithmic scoring & compliance tool that turns dense rules into clear, guided decisions.

Coming soonCode Boys is a designer and an engineer in Birmingham who build real software end to end. Not mockups, not decks — apps that launch and stay launched.
We take the whole thing: design, front-end, backend, the app-store submission, and the part most studios quietly skip — keeping it fast and fixed once real people depend on it. And we’ve shipped our own to prove we can: a live-music app with thousands of users, a keyless booking system running in a real venue, and a civic tool that turns city hall into plain English.
Co-Founder / Design
The one who makes it all look good — and feel right. Chris has been designing since 2007, back when it was merch for bands; now it’s the whole product, drawn in Figma and built out front-end himself, so nothing’s lost between the mockup and your screen. Tattoos, video games, 50+ brands — all came across his desk first. Nerd at heart, which is exactly why it works.
Co-Founder / Engineering
The one who makes Code Boys go. Josh builds the backends, the data pipelines, the systems everything else runs on — a lot of them, across a wild spread of problems: a live-events app, a civic-transparency tool, a keyless door for a karaoke room. If we can dream it up, he builds it.
